And I Love Her Guitar Solo - Timing
For an absolute beginner, learning to play the And I Love Her guitar solo is an accomplishment in itself, and learning to play the And I Love Her solo along with a backing rhythm will be yet another great step in progress as it will be an introduction into timing and phrasing by playing along with another guitarist. In this case, the other guitarist will be provided in this lesson with backing tracks, however, the backing rhythm chords are shown in the lesson if you are able to find an experienced guitarist to practice the And I Love Her guitar solo with in person. For many beginners, playing the And I Love Her guitar solo along with a backing rhythm is actually more of a challenge than learning to play the solo itself.

And I Love Her Guitar Lesson for Beginners
This beginners lesson for And I Love shows how to play a basic version of the And I Love Her guitar solo. On the original recording of And I Love Her by the Beatles, there are a few extra slide effects that are not included in this beginners lesson, however, once a beginner learns to play a complete basic version, the additional slides are not too challenging to learn.

Backing Rhythm Guitar - And I Love Her
The rhythm guitar part of And I Love Her used in this lesson for the solo section is a slight variation from the strum pattern used on the original recording by the Beatles. The reason for this is that the rhythm on the original recording of And I Love Her is supported by an additional rhythm section of drums and bass guitar. When playing the And I Love rhythm on guitar unaccompanied, it is necessary to add variations to the strum pattern in order to makeup for the missing drums and bass guitar.

Paluzzi Guitar
The objective of the Paluzzi Guitar video series is to help establish a foundation of guitar fundamentals by applying various playing techniques (rhythm, fingerstyle, and soloing) to various styles of music. The more playing styles and techniques a guitarist can learn, the more diverse and self-sufficient a guitarist will become. A self-sufficient guitarist can then teach themselves, communicate with other musicians, and even write their own music once a solid foundation of fundamentals is established.

The Creative Guitarist Method Series was written and designed by Kevin J. Paluzzi of Paluzzi Guitar Instruction in San Diego, CA. For more information on private lessons and books, go to:

There really isn’t any one particular playing style or technique required in order to classify someone as a guitarist. For example, Andres Segovia, The Beatles, and Carlos Santana are all considered legendary performing guitarists, but each has their own particular style or technique (fingerstyle, strumming, and soloing) for playing. Every guitarist will have their own personal preferences when it comes to what style of music they would initially like to learn. The Paluzzi Guitar series of books and videos are designed with a ‘pick and choose’ topic format (songwriting, soloing, etc.) so that once the Guitar Basics are completed, the guitarist can decide to focus on whatever topic they wish to study.
