Judge Halts Ban on Smartphone Maker Xiaomi

A U.S. judge has temporarily halted a ban that blocks Americans from #investing in a Chinese #smartphone maker.

In January, the Defense Department added Chinese phone-maker #Xiaomi to a blacklist based on alleged links to the Chinese military. The ban bars all American investment in any companies blacklisted by the Defense Department. U.S. investors must divest all holdings in the company before November this year.
