Sgt. Maj. Shannon Lacy, senior enlisted advisor, 18th Finance Support Center, says that she joined the Army to provide a stable future for her family and for herself. Lacy highlights the many contributions the Women’s Army Corps, Women’s Air Force Service Pilots and Army Nurses provided World War II often in harsh conditions.
