Warm Up! MIDI

Made this in high school, back in 1998. I wanted to make either sheet music for pep band, or record it for basketball warm ups. Didn't ever go public with it, at least not until uploading it on YouTube back in 2012, but a few people from my high school days might remember hearing the old version of it if I shared it with them.

Back to the stick figure. I don't know why it was, but I was in the mood to do something quasi techno-cheeky with cheesy art. So yes, I know it's cheesy. The pictures aren't meant to be commercial or professional, just something fun to display with the song. It was fun at the time to mess around with a concept, and not really try to make it perfect. I'm sure another artist could do them better in Photoshop. I was happy back in 2012 to make something quick in Paint(dot)Net. 😉

Also, the bibliography-like receipts were made because, at the time, I was trying out monetization, and YouTube was basically saying I had to put up reciepts with regards to the following:

Artist name:
Song name:
Music composer/lyricist/publisher:
Music label (if any):
Rights owner's name and contact information:
Your name (first/last):

All of that seemed rather silly and redundant, so I did the whole nonsense partly as a joke, and to somewhat comply to YouTube standards, as ridiculous as they were. I also figured I might as well add on the software I was using to create music and the covers for my videos, as well as the video software used to put it all together. Even on BitChute, I keep to the basic format, but took out the YouTube redundancy. I mean why not put up the tools you use to create? People always want to know what guitar a guitarist is using, so why not let people know the software I use to compose with?
