Crooked Falls

AKA, Horseshoe Falls, Crooked Falls is one of the four remaining falls on the Missouri River.

Historically, there were five falls. These falls gave the Lewis And Clark expedition fits when they had to do a long portage through prickly pears in what is now Great Falls, Montana.

Colter Falls, is submerged due to dams, of which there are five, in Great Falls, Montana, that provide power to the city.

Crooked Falls is the only fall left without a dam in view.
