One of the best lyrics I've ever read and sang. Archie Fisher not only was writing like this but he was also using alternate guitar tunings, opening a whole new style of playing for me and many others.

Stan and Garnet Rogers did an awesome job of this song and when I first heard it in the early 80's, I was an instant Stan, Garnet, and Archie Fisher fan. I learned as many of their songs as I could and that paved the way to the continuous gigs all over the Maritimes for over three decades.
