Service members from the Maryland Army National Guard participate in the Maryland National Guard’s Best Warrior Competition 2020 at H. Steven Blum Military Reservation in Glen Arm, Maryland, on March 11, 2020. On day one, the 13 competitors took part in a 12-mile ruck march, conducted warrior tasks like reacting to enemy contact, weapons disassembly/reassemble, and casualty evacuation. The BWC gives a chance for service members to demonstrate their competence as modern warriors.
