U.S. Marines with Marine Wing Support Squadron (MWSS) 171 refuel a U.S. Air Force F-16D Fighting Falcon with the 13th Fighter Squadron on Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni, Japan, Feb. 24, 2021. Marines with MWSS-171 are able to rapidly set up forward arming and refueling points in austere environments to provide fuel and munitions to a variety of aircraft that operate in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific.
