A Lawmaker In Texas Has Introduced A Controversial Bill That Would Allow Capitol Punishment Be Used For People Who Terminate Pregnancies. Texas State Representative Bryan Slaton Made The Announcement On Twitter Saying

“Today, I Filed HB 3326. The Bill Will End The Discriminatory Practice Of Terminating The Life Of Innocent Children And Will Guarantee The Equal Protection Of The Laws To All Texans, No Matter How Small," He Said.

Under HB 3326, A Person Who Has An Abortion Or Performs An Abortion Could Be Charged With Assault Or Homicide.

Slaton’s Legislation Also Offers Immunity To People Who May Have To Testify In Court.

In Addition The Bill Bans The Procedure At Fertilization, Instead Of At 20 Weeks, Which Is Current Law In Texas.

Slaton Is The Second Lawmaker In Texas To Introduce A Bill That Would Classify Abortion As A Homicide.

Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson Signed A Bill Into Law On Tuesday Banning Abortions Unless It Is To Save The Life Of The Mother.
