Mike Green's: I'm Looking Up ❤ Album: Worship on Echo Mountain ❤ Indie Folk Praise and Worship

Mike has been married to his wife Michele for more than forty years. Together they provide sensitive, affirming, pastoral care to people all over the USA and the world. To their "Fam" they are called "pastors."
Their personal quest to know God brought Mike and Michele together way back in the 1970s. Even before they met in a smoke-filled crowded room, each of them wanted to know God. Once they got together, they studied and practiced a variety of methods which promised spiritual enlightenment. This included more than eight years of daily mantra meditation, as much as six hours a day, and several different forms of yoga. However, nothing they did brought them the encounter with God they sought.
Finally, after twenty years of seeking they were introduced to the Living God, Jesus Christ/Yeshua Messiah, in their own home. To say the least, the divine encounter changed their life dramatically! Soon after acknowledging Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior they prayed for and received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. From that moment time in prayer increased and study of the Bible became a lifestyle discipline that continues to this day.
One year after meeting the Savior they were hosting weekly meetings in their home to share the Truth of Christ with others. The weekly fellowship was built upon hours of worship, Bible study, and prayer. Miracles occurred during the meetings, including people coming to faith, bodies and minds being healed, as well as many other dramatic answers to prayer.
As they studied and prayed their hunger to know God increased. Three years after their first encounter they felt the Lord directing them to college. Mike was thirty-nine years old at the time and had never been to college. But for the next six years he studied and prayed and worked, and worked, and was rewarded with a bachelor's degree in Theology, and a Master's degree in Family Counseling. During "the school years" God supplied every dollar needed to pay for college tuition, buy textbooks, and move the household three times. They wrote about this period in their book, Life With God.
