Trump Leads 2024 Field by a Mile, 3533

President Trump leads the rest of the GOP field in regaining the Republican nomination for president in 2024 by a country mile.

Mike Pence 12%
Donald Trump Jr. 6%
Nikki Haley 6%
Mike Pompeo 2%
Marco Rubio 2%
Mitt Romney 4%
Ted Cruz 4%
Tom Cotton 1%
Josh Hawley 1%

Strangely, Florida governor Ron DeSantis was not included in this poll.
According to another story in The Hill which reports on a pall done by GOP pollster Tony Fabriio, when DeSantis is included in the mix, he and Mike Pence are tied in the race for the nomination if Trump doesn’t run.
Pence comes in with 19% and Desantis at 17% with senator Ted Cruz the only other contender to break double digits in the survey with 13%.
With trump in the race Pence only gets 9% and DeSantis comes in at 7%. When the question was asked who would be their second place choice to trump, DeSantis and Pence each got 22%, with Cruz coming in with a respectable 19%.
