You Are Walking On The Waves of Faith

Hello brothers and sisters and Heartdwellers family.

I received this message two weeks ago and I was having so many strong feelings of insecurity in leadership, as a Mother of souls, and simply as the Lord’s bride. With this work ahead of me I was feeling overwhelmed and very much alone. As the enemy was pelting me with thoughts of past failures, so many disappointments and rejections I faced when walking with the Lord and that these things would happen again in the future.

During prayer the Lord began to play songs of encouragement over me and song’s of faith and I heard him began to speak to me as I said, Good morning Lord. Jesus here I am been struggling with so many unknowns feeling so insecure with myself and with this work

Jesus began,
“My beloved, I’m glad that you are here. You and many of my brides have been hit with assignments of fear, insecurity and doubt. When you feel insecure you want to recoil, you don’t trust yourself or trust me. Rather you should never trust yourself, but always trust Me. Do you remember they hit you with this same assignment last year when you were preparing to leave?”

I thought about it for a second and realize Jesus was right. I even did a message on it called “ Wandering & Insecure Brides” right about the same time when I thought I was going to leave in the summer of last year for Ghana. I responded,

Yes Lord I remember

Jesus responded,

Well, they will continue to do so beloved, and you will continue to fall into the snare, when you look into the future without Me in there. Insecurity causes you to look at yourself without me standing besides you, before you and with you. Don’t you see, Satan wants to eat away at your trust in Me.

Immeaditely I began to envision the scene from the movie “Shack” where the father was in the canoe having a panic attack. The canoe was cracking and sinking with black goo coming inside the boat because he was so focused on the pain of losing his daughter. However Jesus was outside the boat right in front of him with his hands extended to the Father telling him to focus on Him and not the boat sinking.

Jesus chimed in,

“Yes it’s much like that, when you take your eyes off of Me in any situation or circumstance you look and feel very much like that, but I never leave you and I’m always there to call out your name and turn your head gently to fix your gaze upon me and not on your pain, your circumstance or uncertainties. So look at me”…

I realized I was now in the sinking canoe and my eyes were fixed on all the torments, harrasments, and pains of my past where coming up in my canoe causing it to crack, sink and be taken over by this black substance and fear began to grip me.

I looked up saw Jesus walking on the water with a white robe, shinning brightly with his hand extended out to me from this sinking canoe and I grabbed his hand as he beckon me to step out the canoe and step out onto the water. I was now standing with Jesus gripping his waist as I stood next to Him wobbly and afraid as we began to walk on the water. It felt so weird as the water was coming between my toes, but yet it was firm.
