Cloth Napkins with Easy Mitered Corners | Beginner Sewing Project

Why buy fancy cloth napkins when you can make your own? We're making simple napkins with easy mitered corners as part of the Learn to Sew in 2020 series. Napkins are a great beginner sewing project because they only require one square of fabric and stitching straight lines.
To make four 18.5 inch finished napkins, you'll need just shy of 1.5 yards of (44 inch wide) quilting cotton. If you want to make larger sizes, significantly more yardage is required as you'll only be able to fit one napkin on the width of fabric (WOF).
Make sure to pre-wash your fabric! Fabric recommendation: cotton or linen (woven)
