Description A U.S. Air Force Boeing KB-50J Superfortress (BuNo 49-367) refueling two U.S. Navy Vought F-8D Crusaders from Fighter Squadron VF-111 "Sundowners" and an RF-8A from Photographic Reconnaissance Squadron VFP-63 Det.C "Eyes of the Fleet". VF-111 and VFP-63 Det.C were assigned to Carrier Air Wing 11 (CVW-11) aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) for a deployment to the Western Pacific from 17 October 1963 to 20 July 1964.
