The Minnesota legislature is in session and meaningful, real, and lasting budget cuts are possible. Minnesota consistently ranks as one of the top 5 worst states in the nation for taxes. As a result many of our people are relocating to more favorable states. We also have a large network of roads that needs constant maintenance but with our tax dollars being wasted it's tough to see things getting corrected. The Governor wants to raise taxes. That seems to be all Governor Walz can talk about, but there is plenty of room for budget cuts. Listen to this interview with MN State Rep. Joshua Heintzeman from the land of Rocks & Cows.
