Made in what looks like the late 30s, or early 40s. This is part 3 of a multi-series they did, but I haven't found them anywhere. Alaska Nelly was world famous in her day. An early Alaskan pioneer, she was tasked by the government to start a roadhouse to feed railroad workers in 1916 in the Kenai Lake area, and this is where she stayed the rest of her life until she died in 1956. This video is short but very insightful into life at the time of Nelly in Alaska. She hosted tens of thousands of the who's who back in those days. Including President Herbert Hoover, numerous Hollywood celebrities, even princes from the middle east!
