The Meaning of family according to the Cambridge Dictionary is…

Family, is a noun, a social group,

A group of people who are related to each other, such as a mother, a father, and their children:

A new family has moved in next door so they have become our neighbours.

I come from a large family, the man said. I have three brothers and two sisters as well. Where are you from? We are from Ireland, in Kildare. That is lovely! Welcome here to Philadelphia.

Now we pray together for peace in our hearts, in our family with the Holy Family: Mary, Jesus and Joseph.

Jesus says to his disciples, “Peace is what I leave you; it is my own peace that I give you. I do not give it as the world does. Do not be worried and upset; do not be afraid.” –from the Holy Gospel according to John 14:27
