Lionel 6-8759 Erie Lackawanna GP-9 Diesel

Lionel 6-8759 Erie Lackawanna GP-9 Diesel running on my layout with a very appropriate consist. This locomotive was manufactured from 1977 through 1979. Three position reverse unit, with light and traction tires. Magnetraction was not used on this model. A diesel horn was also left out confirming this was the economy model. It runs well forward and reverse and can pull a decent consist. All considered I'm pretty happy with this engine.
