God Speaks Your Love Language | Book Review (Dr. Gary Chapman)

God speaks your love language by Dr. Gary Chapman helped me to start relating to God as my Perfect Heavenly Father!

I picked up this book, hoping it will help me to start seeing God as my Perfect Heavenly Father, in the way Jesus teaches us that we ought to relate to Him. But growing up with abusive parents, it was difficult for me to picture what that would be like – having a *perfect father.

I had to disassociate who my earthly parents were from who God is, and stop projecting them on God, and God on them – and this book helped me to do that. The author gives us some amazing insights into our Heavenly Father, and the reality that He speaks all our love languages.

This book also helped me to empathize with others who express their love toward God differently, and the author gives some really amazing suggestions to start speaking a different love language to God – putting one of his suggestions into action has deepened my relationship with God tremendously, and I mention how I did that in this video!

This book helped me a lot along my journey, especially in regards to my relationship with God, and relating to Him in the Way He wants me to! God bless you, abundantly!
