Jesus teaches on the Royal Priesthood

Hello Family,

It has been exciting to see the community grow and many of the precious come into their vocation and calling in the Lord. During St. Francis feast day which was Oct 4th Jesus proposed to many of the souls in the community to espouse him and take their vows as Franciscan and some he invited to step into their calling as a priest.

I have been a priest now for 2 years ordained by Mother Clare and Father Ezekiel who are not under the Catholic Church or Protestant Church but have adopted the teachings and practices of the Early Church. I remember the Lord began to do a work in me when even at home he was calling me to go deeper in him. He told me “where I am taking you calls for deeper faith”. I didn’t know what he meant but that year he pulled me out of my church in leadership just to sit at his feet. He called me out of public ministry to a life of solitude and prayer at home. I was perplexed at what he was doing but continued to follow his leading. Then one day I got an email from Mother Clare asking me if I wanted to be ordained as a priest. I first thought really, me Lord then it made sense why he was pulling me away from the world and into him so closely. At that time I didn’t know what it meant to be a priest of the Lord especially coming from a protestant background but I have learned these past 2 years what a precious honor, privilege, and blessing to be called by the Lord to serve him in this way.

One of the brothers here grew up catholic, but came to know Jesus through evangelical teachings of the protestant church . He has a tender heart for Jesus and hears his voice so clearly. He received a proposal by the Lord to become a priest. However, he was struggling with that a bit as he kept referencing to the scripture “we are all royal priest hood, a holy nation so he didn’t see the importance or the reason of being ordained a priest. I knew I would have to talk to him about it and also answer that same question with many of my former friends who are protestants and don’t see the value of a priest. I understand because I too didn’t know the difference or understand the role of a priest in the church. So I was pondering on all of this during adoration. Asking the Lord the difference referenced in scripture and also about women being priest. Then I heard a soft still small voice say

“Mary Magdalene was a priest”

I thought to myself really, wait is this Jesus as more thoughts where coming to my mind. I was hesitant doubting if it was the Lord. As you see guys I still struggle with unbelief and fear Lord please for give me. So I went to a bible promise to get confirmation because I was feeling uneasy I got scriptures on “Insecurity”. I knew the Lord was telling me I was being insecure about hearing his voice and doubting what he was telling me. So by faith I began to just write as I came before him saying,

Lord I’m sorry for doubting your voice and promptings

Jesus responded,
“It’s okay my beloved one just keep coming, just keep coming (as he was smiling)”

( which is a melody from the movie finding Nemo where dora says just keep swimming just keep swimming ha! Jesus tells me that sometimes when I am doubting coming to him to hear his heart)

So Mary Magdalene was a priest Lord?

Jesus began,

“Yes my beloved little one she was the first female priest ordained by me. My mother had the similar role, but was not given the title or the office. She showed how a priest is to live and love me offering themselves as a sacrifice and offering me up as a sacrifice to the father for the salvation of souls. That is why I had my beloved John so close to her so he could learn from her how to be a priest of my love. After my resurrection before my ascension I had spoken to her about her mission. She was called too to make reparation for her sins and sinners in the world.

(As an aside reparation means “the making of amends for a wrong one has done, by paying money to or otherwise helping those who have been wronged”. You maybe thinking but Jesus paid all of our sins so I don’t have to pay anything which is true to an extent. Jesus did pay for all our sins with his life, his blood on the cross but there is still consequences of our sins we must pay for.
