How did Abram's faith change in character over Abram's life? Why was his name changed? Why did Abram’s pace change (his actual walk - or, run near the end of his life)? This is precisely the opposite of most men’s walk. Why did Sarai's name change? What of HER faith? What has this to do with the Crucifixion of Christ?
EVERYTHING.
When the “Breath” of God resides in our hearts - when His Word guides and guards our own tongue - greatness is the natural consequence - attendant with miracles, escapes, and victories. Even in our failures - His Grace and Mercy shine on us - as a light in a dark room - such that every movement (when our hearts are so aligned) exhibits His Handiwork.
This then - is the very Heart of the point - and when we apply this reasoning to our current situations - something miraculous appears. It has been there the whole time - it’s just in our darkened repose, we didn’t have the wit to see it. But - as our understanding Brightens - our aspect and nature change. Hope is now our gift - to our family - our loved ones and friends - even to our nation and greater family of man. It is time to welcome in God’s Breath - into our hearts! This is the Faith of Kings.
