20210303 Section 230 - The Daily Summation

This video discusses the idea that entities like Facebook and Twitter are actually subject to Section 230.

I contend that, if they moderate, or in ANY OTHER WAY "edit" content, they're no longer PLATFORMS, but CONTENT PROVIDERS. At that point, they're NO LONGER SUBJECT TO Section 230.

In my mind, whether they're a platform or a content provider must be determined, before it's decided that it's reasonable to sue them. If they're a content provider rather than a platform ALL BETS ARE OFF.

I explain why in my way of thinking, that's already on display in this edition of The Daily Summation from Kurt's Religion and Politics.

When I'm able to complete the companion article for this video on the Kurt's Religion and Politics blog, I'll post a link to it here.
