Bear Mountain Zoo and NY City drive

We were all over the place today from New York to New Jersey at #AlpineLookout to #BearMountain and back to #NewYorkCity. We had never stopped at one of the lookouts on the #Palisadesparkway and decided to check it out. Turns out there are a few walks there and a view of the #HudsonRiver and chimney rocks. Then we went back to Bear mountain where we didn't hike this time but instead went to the zoo. It is a small zoo with a handful of animals. The first time for either of us and it was actually a nice walk with small plaques with facts about the area. Seeing a #RevolutionaryWar remain was also interesting. Lastly, since we didn't torture ourselves enough getting lost in the morning, we decided to drive back through the city to see the tree. We had fun and we hope you enjoy!
