Friendship - A Brief Tale

In this edition, one of our members tells a personal story for further contemplation, and to present a direct appeal for grounding character in modern times. This is also an attempt to parse out a more genuine meaning behind the phrase "don't live with regrets", which has been subverted into an appeal to "live it up" without first contemplating what might happen when we neglect our friends for the sake of our own personal quest for satisfaction, or alternatively get lost in our personal concerns and thus neglect the concerns of those we depend on. Every action should have purpose, and every measure taken should be taking you in the direction that you would like to go.
