William Pelham Barr is an American attorney who served as the 77th and 85th United States Attorney General. On December 14, 2020, Barr announced his resignation as Attorney General to be effective on December 23, 2020. From 1973 to 1977, Barr was employed by the Central Intelligence Agency during his schooling years.
