Local children's hospital seeing 66% increase in Baker Acts

Golisano Children’s Hospital says more kids in our community are suffering with mental health amid the pandemic and it's leading to a significant increase in Baker Acts. This means more kids coming into their ER are attempting suicide and, under the Baker Act, are being committed for psychiatric hospitalization.
