Why Do Anti-Gun People Still Call Guys With Guns When They Need Help? The Laws of Nature show us that self-preservation is an innate desire for all humans. When attacked, we defend, we protect, we preserve our health and safety. This is the foundation of self-defense, being able to protect yourself against an aggressor.
It is possible that this law of self-preservation is also why so many people (usually unfamiliar with firearms) oppose the 2nd Amendment and gun ownership.
