Adjustable Desk for Van Build-Out

This video is about an adjustable desk for the Van Build-Out that I just completed. I hope you like this video, and please "Like" this video and "Subscribe" to my channel. If you know someone that may like this video, please feel free to share it with them or on your social media accounts.

This desk is made with 3/4" Hardwood Plywood, with a border of Poplar wood. I connected the Poplar to the Plywood by utilizing a Biscuit Jointer, Biscuits, and Wood Glue. By doing that, I don't have any nails to interfere with the process of Routering the top edge of the desk. Then, I applied a stainable wood putty to the cracks, sanded it with 60 grit, then finished with 220 grit sandpaper. Then I stained it and clear coated it with my spray gun.

As for the base, I bought a "Table Kit" from Camping World, Cut it in half, then added a 2 inch Auto Exhaust Pipe into it and drilled holes so that I could adjust the elevation of the desk. The idea behind that was that he could either use the desk sitting in the passenger seat or by standing up.
