U.S. District Judge Drew Tipton, granted a preliminary injunction that blocks the 100-day deportation pause the Biden administration announced on its first day in office. This is not the first time to issue a restraining order.

Trump’s top choice for the Supreme Court might be Barbara Lagoa, a 11th Circuit judge from Florida. Last September Mitch McConnell, the Senate Majority leader at the time called Trump directly and recommended him to nominate Barrett. Vice President Mike Pence and Trump’s White House Counsellor Pat Cipollone were also persuading the president to choose Barrett. They argued there was so little time left and they certainly needed support from Republicans in the Senate. Some GOP establishment even prevented Trump from interviewing other candidates.

As early as November 8, Naomi Wolf had questioned her choice to vote for Biden after she learned Biden was open to more ‘lockdowns’. She tweeted “If I’d known Biden was open to ‘lockdowns’ as he now states, which is something historically unprecedented in any pandemic, and a terrifying practice, one that won’t ever end because elites love it, I would never have voted for him.”
