It was in December of 2018 when the National Library of Greece moved to its new location in The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center in the bay of Faliro from its Vallianeio historic neoclassical building in downtown Athens.
This is a very modern complex where the Greek National Opera is also located.
The new library now has a Public Section on the ground floor where the non-members can enjoy for free.
It also has a very welcoming Children's Area.
Photography/videos strictly not allowed in most areas.
