NYC Mayor Bill De Blasio Paints 'Black Lives Matter' Outside Trump Tower

The mayor joined first lady Chirlane McCray, the Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooklyn Borough President Eric Adams and Rep. Carolyn Maloney (D-NY) to fill in the letter “L” with yellow paint for what some critics, including President Trump himself, have called a political stunt. The crowd screams "No justice, no peace! No justice, no peace! What matters? Black lives! What matters? Black lives! Whose streets? Our streets? Whose streets? Our streets!"

Bill de Blasio is an American politician who has served as the 109th mayor of New York City since 2014. A member of the Democratic Party, he was New York City's public advocate from 2010 to 2013.
