South Africa Cape Town 24 February 2021 Wendy Pekeur of Ubuntu Rural Woman Youth Movement infront of Cape Town CCMA. Ubuntu are protesting against budget cuts, back log of cases, demanding 100% opening of the CCMA. Thereafter Ubuntu and the women's budget collective will be at Parliament at 11am with their pots demanding a gender sensitive budget. More money towards health care, a permanent basic income grant for the unemployed, more money for land ownership for women, safe and free vaccines, more money for decent homes for women.
