Rachel Levine (previously known by the name on Levine's medical degree, Richard Levine, MD) presents the new guidelines for the early interventions for transgender children from pre-pubescent through adolescent and young adult.

Dr. Rachel Levine is the Biden/Harris administration's U.S. Assistant Health Secretary with controversial views promoting even earlier interventions for children exhibiting gender dysphoria than the newly adopted guidelines Levine discusses here.

INTERESTING FACTS:

Rachel Levine is not the name on Levine's medical degree: It's likely no secret, unless you're visually impaired, that Levine was born a man and didn't begin telling people she was a woman until 2011. Levine is 62-years-old, spending 53-years living as a man and 9-years identifying as women which included years of transitioning Levine's physical appearance.

Rachel Levine attended an all-boys prep school as Richard Levine and was a linebacker on the football team and also played hockey. Levine returned there to give a "talk" (2016) where for over an hour had the whole school listen to her advocate for everyone to be "allies of the LGBTQQIP2SAA community." Viewing the talk online which is titled "Eye of the Hurricane," while the video description conspicuously states that Levine's speech was given to students in rapt attention and ended with a standing ovation, you can hear after about ten minutes the students are obviously restless, and possibly uncomfortable with the lecture they were no doubt forced to endure by the "woke" administration who I've not been able to determine if Levine was a paid speaker or speaking gratis as a returning alum, or how many other "woke" lectures like this are presented by the administrators but I'd be interested to know the thoughts of the parents, if they know about such events.

On May 13, 2013 during a conference call KDKA radio host Marty Griffen repeatedly called Levine 'sir' to which Levine responded that it was insulting and asked not to be misgendered. Incidentally, "misgendering" and "dead-naming" (referring to the name a transgender person had for most of their life prior to transitioning) is a offense that will get you banned, often permanently, on social media platforms if reported to administrators, and increasingly at more and more corporations in the United States and Europe, even while many people within those areas and other whole countries as a whole do not recognize fluidity of gender, and it is in fact opposed by various religions. It's also been reported that there will be upcoming legislation in the United States that would use tax-payer's money to fund the cost of transgender surgeries and other treatments like psychological support for Medicare/Medicaid and also for convicted criminals currently serving a sentence in federal prison (as a first step towards complete coverage).

70% of all deaths from Covid-19 in Pennsylvania, the commonwealth from which Levine hails, are from outbreaks in nursing / personal homes. Long before Covid-19, Levine had placed 95-year-old mother in a personal care home; however, just before Levine's own PA Health Department directed Covid positive patients to be placed in nursing and personal care homes Levine moved Levine's mother out of the personal care home where she resided. Levine faced criticism for the move to protect Levine's own mother while other families unaware of the upcoming policies had no such protections for their own family members.

Levine has a long history of working with children. Previous to being appointed by PA Gov Tom Wolf to Physician General then Secretary of Health, Levine was the vice chair for clinical affairs for the Department of Pediatrics and chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine and Eating Disorders at the Penn State Hershey Children's Hospital focusing on the care of complex teens with medical and psychological problems.
