Merrick Garland Stammers Through Confirmation Hearing and the Supreme Court is Predictably Garbage

Day one of the Senate Confirmation hearing for Merrick Garland to become the Attorney General was hilariously devoid of coherent thought. What the man who is supposed to be the top cop in the land does not know about relevant cases and issues to America could fill multiple warehouses. Um's and ah's a plenty from the nearly 6 hour long proceedings.

The Supreme Court of the United States had a chance to hear any of the election cases that had been appealed up to their desk, and predictably, they passed on them hard. Justices Alito and Gorsuch joined in on the complete and through dissention penned by the great Justice Clarence Thomas. He wanted to hear the cases, he wanted to set precedent, but Roberts, Kavanaugh and Barrett hid under their desk to avoid doing anything.

Hopefully they are getting ready for some new roommates, as the Atlantic has penned a wonderful piece outlining the need to abolish the Electoral College and pack the Supreme Court.
