Pandora’s box is considered one of the most descriptive myths of human behaviour in Greek mythology. Pandora was, according to Hesiod's poem, the first woman on Earth. She was created by the Gods and sent to Earth as an instrument of wrath by Zeus, to torture and unleash misery, as Zeus wanted to punish mankind because Prometheus stole and gave them fire.
