President Trump greeting troops on the tarmac at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson

June 26, 2019: President Donald Trump stepped off Air Force One to greet and chat with military personnel at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson during a refueling stop en route to Japan for a state visit.

As he walked across the tarmac, The President said Alaska was a “nice stop.” He also posed for photos, signed caps and autographs and shook hands with troops.
