Bishop J. Drew Sheard raises over $100K for COVID relief; seeks to make church a vaccination station

Bishop J. Drew Sheard is the Senior Pastor of Greater Emmanuel Institutional Church of Church of God In Christ (COGIC) in Detroit, MI. His hope is to elevate and impact the ministry for the modern day church. Bishop Sheard, who is up for re-election to the General Board for the International Churches of God in Christ (COGIC), has been diligently working in the community to offer support and assistance to pastors and ministries, by raising over $100K to support churches suffering from the pandemic. In addition, he's worked with a team of four pastors to offer additional COVID Relief Stimulus money to local communities. He's also working with Detroit city officials and the health department to be approved to be a mass vaccine site.
