Delighting in the Sabbath - Matthew 7:12-29

Pastor John Clark continues our study of the book of Matthew (ch. 7:12-29), in which Jesus concludes his "sermon on the mount".

There are millions of people who claim to be following Christ, so why did Jesus say that there would be few who would truly find the way of life?

What was the purpose of God's Sabbath day? What does the Sabbath mean for God's people today? Is it a day set aside for worship?

What is the "rest" that the prophet Isaiah was talking about in Isaiah 28:11, and why does the apostle Paul, in 1Corinthians 14:21 equate this "rest" with speaking in tongues?

What is the "fruit" Jesus was talking about in Mt. 7:16-20? What do we need in order to be able to rightly judge if someone is bearing good or bad fruit?

If God gives a person a gift, does He take that gift away if that person doesn't live right?

Find out the answers to these questions and more, as pastor John continues to teach from the book of Matthew.
