PPE Delivery to the Fire Scene - 2020 Safety and Health Conference

This video is a virtual conference component of the Florida Fire Chief's Association's December 2020 Safety and Health Conference.

It features three departments in North America that have effective working models on bringing bunker gear, hoods, gloves to all working fire scenes. Those departments featured are: San Antonio (TX) Fire Department, Vancouver ( British Columbia ) Fire Rescue and Pasco County (FL) Fire Rescue. The moderator is Samuel Eaton from our FFSHC (FL) State FACE Team, Battalion Chief and Health and Safety Officer for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.

The purpose of the model is to reduce cross contamination and continued exposure to their firefighters to the harmful cancer causing toxins prevalent at all fire scenes.
