The big hit, and in fact, the only hit for the band, Every Mother's Son roared to the top of the charts in 1967. Their following releases didn't do near as well. The band appeared in two episodes of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. due to MGM producing the hit TV series as well as releasing their record. The band was formed by Larry and Dennis Larden and was considered a clean-cut alternative to the hippie era. The song was written by Wes Farrell and Jerry Goldstein. Dennis Larden joined the Ricky Nelson band after Every Mother's Son disbanded.
