After 400 days, how many Covid-19 deaths are there compared to other causes of deaths?
This bar chart race shows the number of Covid-19 deaths compared to other causes of deaths. From the the first death occured until 18th February 2021. Also shown is the percentage Covid-19 deaths of total deaths.
Note: There are more deaths and other causes of deaths than listed here. The percentage is lower if these are included.
Numbers are calculated as daily average over 1 year of time. Most numbers are from 2017, so the Covid-19 deaths are compared to under "normal" circumstances.
The flu number is an estimate (CDC/WHO), not reported or from diagnoses.
The number of Covid-19 deaths are the official reported ones. Covid-19 deaths may also be wrongly diagnosed in some cases, or not diagnosed in other cases.
