Megan Lubbers: Turmeric Latte Demo & Recipe

Turmeric is one of the most powerful anti-inflammatory ingredients available to man. There are fast and easy ways of getting your daily dose of turmeric, and there are luxurious and ceremonial ways:

Megan makes it in two phases:

First: Make your homemade almond milk, store overnight for up to two weeks.

Second: Turn your homemade almond milk into a anti-inflammatory turmeric latte.

To turn your homemade almond milk into a TURMERIC LATTE:
Ingredients Needed:
1 Tbsp organic marine collagen Truvani
1 Cup filter water
½ Cup homemade almond milk (see Megan's recipe in the 7 Day Healing Meal Plan + Grocery List when you get the premium pass)
3 Truvani tablets turmeric

Instructions:

1. Pour 1 Cup filtered water into tea kettle over stove and turn on to medium high heat. Let boil until you hear the whistle blow.

2. While the water is boiling in the tea kettle get your favorite extra large coffee mug out. (I use the biggest mug I have for these latte’s because it's easier to use the immersion blender or frother with and not make a big mess.) Add turmeric only for now.

3. Once water is hot pour into the mug with turmeric...you will see the turmeric begin to dissolve into water.

4. Now add collagen and almond milk. For the almond milk I add however much I feel like that day, usually about a cup or more.

6. Use immersion blender to get a nice frothy mixture. This will give you the latte effect.

7. Get cozied up and enjoy with a glass or stainless steel straw!
