The morning started off with the winds being mostly calm
and by the time I was leaving it was extremely windy with 20 mph
sustained winds with up to 30 mph gusts.
The temp had fallen to 49 degrees overnight and the shallow water
had cooled significantly and that did affect the fishing.
the fish did eventually become active a bit later in the morning.

I can honestly say the peddle drive made all the difference in the world
fishing in the high winds, not having to fight the paddle was key to having
some success.
