White House says Mavericks’ national anthem ban recognizes US failings

The Biden administration on Tuesday appeared to support the Dallas Mavericks’ decision to nix the national anthem at games — telling reporters that national pride includes knowing that Americans “haven’t lived up to our highest ideals.”
More Anti American crap coming from the NBA. Mark Cuban , Dallas Mavericks owner said he would no longer play the National Anthem at home games... For the first time this season, the Dallas Mavericks will play the national anthem ahead of a home game.

The Mavericks said the anthem will play before Wednesday’s game with the Atlanta Hawks at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, reversing course after the league ordered teams to include the song as part of the pregame ritual.
