CUSTOM Fishing Rod Unboxing! - Euro Nymphing Fly Rod- McFly Angler Episode 12

I got a new fly rod from Midwest Custom Fly Rods. I thought I would bring you guys along with me on the unboxing of my rod. I am so happy with this rod. Its beautiful, and really well built. All I was hoping for and more. The price is amazing as well. This guy does an amazing job!

I also ordered a 10' 3wt blank from The hook and the hackle which sells rod building supplies and fly tying supplies. The Xi blank is a very high quality blank that has a really nice taper to it. And the price ranges from $76-119 which is a great deal for a quality blank like this. This specific blank is $107. On the video I said it was $70 roughly, but it was all part of a package deal, and I didnt directly pay for them. For some reason I thought they were $70, but when I checked their website it turns out they are $107. Still an amazing deal though!

The place I was fishing at the end of the video is a small RV park with a few stocked lakes and rivers running through the property. Its free to fish there if you are staying at the park. There are some monster trout in there.
