How to stay happy amid turmoil

I think we can rule out money and status as the source of happiness. Because right now, the celebrities and millionaires have not been immune from the ravages of the coronavirus. They are living in as much fear as everybody else. Because neither money nor status could stop these minute viruses from putting such fear in the hearts of people all over the world. So, if neither money nor status is the key to happiness, what then is the key to happiness?
