GOLD CW Infantry Button found while METAL DETECTING in Colorado

We are back out on the Civil War era Cavalry Camp. This day I found my first Infantry button and plenty more dropped bullets.

It is a rare moment to find, metal detect and dig civil war era relics in Colorado. There were no battles fought or conflicts in Colorado that directly influenced the civil war. Colorado was still a territory during that time period. So to find a location that had civil war units that touched Colorado is priceless, epic and rare.
