Pelicans and swimming

Pelican birds are one of the forms of waterfowl, which are found in lakes, rivers, and sea coasts, and in many parts of the world, with a length of about 180 cm, and a wingspan of up to 3 meters, and a light weight of about 13 kilograms, and it is one of the largest living birds in the world. The pelican bird depends for its food heavily on the fish it hunts from the water bodies around which it lives, using its large and adaptive beak for fishing, and there are types of pelicans that dive in the water for hunting.
