President Donald J Trump renegotiated NAFTA and replaced it with the USMCA

Under the leadership of President Donald J. Trump, the United States renegotiated NAFTA replacing it with an updated and rebalanced agreement that works much better for North America, the United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA).

President Trump said the agreement was "a colossal victory for our farmers, ranchers, energy workers, factory workers, and American workers in all 50 states." He signed the agreement into law on January 29, 2020.
