1. Have you ever tried to help someone, and it ended up a shouting match? No matter how hard you try to help that person, they just put up a wall in defense. This is what happens when your core values are challenged or brought into question. You’re core beliefs are sacred and if it attacks in anyway, they will project a hostile defense. Your mind tunes that person out because they disrespected the sanctity of your core values. When you learn to manage the reflex of your core defensive mechanism, you are able to take others input without interjecting your own.

2. Maui is the spirt of our forefathers and his tattoos represent our sacred constitution. Moana needs Maui to help restore the heart of Te-Fiti. For without each other’s help, Moana’s island would perish and Maui would be a lost soul.
